Chris Scott wasn’t much of a winner at Wenatchee High School.
“We never really had a winning season there, it was fun to go to Eastern,” said Scott.
Fun would be referring to the Big Sky Championship and the semifinals run that the Eastern Washington football team made in 1997 in the then-Division I-AA playoffs. Scott was undeniably an important part to that run as he was named Big Sky Defensive MVP and All-First Team Division I-AA.

Thanks to the wonderful technology of the Nintendo Wii and NCAA Football 09, HomeTeam Sports has the capability of looking into the future and determining the outcome of certain college football games.
Since Washington State was playing down a sub-division against Portland State, and Eastern Washington will also be playing down against Division II Western Washington, the best matchup this week seemed to be the Western Athletic Conference opener for Idaho (1-2) against Utah State (0-3).
